Itinerary
Meet at Berwick-upon-Tweed’s Railway Station, LNER east coast train line Edinburgh-London (alternative pick-up points can be arranged). Car parking on site.
- Riverside Walk along the Mighty Tweed to the historic Elizabethan Walls
- Take in Berwick’s famous & historic 3 bridges
- Circular walk round the old Elizabethan walls with regular food & drink intervals
- Learn the unique & fascinating heritage of the Borderlands & Berwick-upon-Tweed through tastings of the wonderful & extensive local produce
- Coastal views of Holy Island of Lindisfarne & Bamburgh Castle on a clear day
- Finish tour in the centre of the town, overlooking the main central streets of Castlegate & Marygate
